Reading is so very important through out life, but during the early childhood years reading to your child helps build a stronger relationship, while also helping them to learn language and reasoning skills. An additional bonus is that it is simply tons of fun to read! Check out this list of Lauren’s favorite children’s books, these books are sure to make you and your little one’s smile!
We are BIG readers in our family! My daughter’s favorite books right now are the Clifford and Froggy books and, of course, the classics like Goodnight Moon. We also love a play on that book, Goodnight Goon!

My favorite book of all time is Ella Enchanted! I will read this book to my daughter when she gets older.
My favorite book EVER is “Greyfriars Bobby”, a classic piece of literature by Eleanor Atkinson. Beautiful Scottish scenery and dialects. 🙂
For reading with my family, our favorite has to be “The Boxcar Children”. It’s such a good children’s story, and we love reading the whole series!
My favorite book is probably ‘Good Omens’ by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.
As far as reading with my kids, my favorite book is probably Anne of Green Gables or Kashka.
I love anything non fiction, a good book is alpha awareness. My kids love eric carlisle books and dr. seuss
